Fonts (2)

When I open the Font Panel, I get a list with about 60 different
fonts. However, in the Preview they all look the same but the
following:

Courier looks like Courier.
Lucidux Mono looks like Lucidux Mono.
Lucidux Sans looks like Lucidux Sans.
Lucidux Serif looks like Lucidux Serif.
Unifont looks like Unifont. And there the bold, italic, bold-italic
and normal attributes are displayed correctly.

For the others, only the size and the italic attribute have an
effect. The bold attribute change the kerning but not the weight of
the characters.

However, setting:

dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSBoldFont Unifont-Bold
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSControlContentFont Unifont-Bold
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSLabelFont Unifont-Bold
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSMenuFont Unifont
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSMessageFont Unifont
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSPaletteFont Unifont-Bold
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSTitleBarFont Unifont
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSToolTipsFont Unifont-Bold
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSUserFixedPitchFont Courier
dwrite NSGlobalDomain NSUserFont Times

does not improve the situation. Unifont is not used in the GUI, be it
the menu or the openpanel...
