Dear People,

Thank you for volunteering to help the GNU Press! We have received
the latest edition of the GNU C Library reference Manual, and would
like to have it fact-checked and English-checked one last time before
it goes to press.

The manual has been split into 2 separate, stand alone volumes. I
would appreciate it if volunteers would take a moment to give it a
holistic look, and see how well the split was made. Does a book feel
like it is "missing" something? Does information not flow correctly?

The texts are available in both the original Texinfo type-formatting
versions (as one *very* large text file), and as PDF versions.

For those who would like the reference of the original version of the
manual as one whole book on-line, it is located at

A copy of the GNU Press Style Guide is located at

All the above links can also be found at

Please send mail to address@hidden if you have any questions or have
comments to give.

Best Regards,
