Please ask Roland what the current status is.  I exchanged email with
him about 2 months ago, and he sounded rather uninterested in coming
out with a whole new version.  Maybe that got him thinking, and he has
made some updates.

Currently, there are no Savannah projects for the C manuals; the
maintainers keep them elsewhere.  It is all very political and
bothersome.  I figure we should just set them up here so we all have
quick access to it.  After the work is done, we can send all the data
back to the maintainers in one neat package.
