Hello,
I'm trying to recompile many gnu applications in my own customized operating
system. I'm using glibc-2.28 with gcc-8.2.0 and linux kernel 4.18.16.
As I was told in this same list, I'm using the git repositories to recreate
the source packages. It is quite a big job, I've already prepared
findutils, m4, bison... and sometimes it requires additional work to modify
configure.ac
files etc.
I would like to have more information about this gnulib issue (or some
references to
read) to decide whether investing more time moving to git sources or return to
glibc-2.17 and wait for a general fix. (I don't know what a general fix could
be, maybe wait for a new release of the gnu application I'm using in my
OS?).
Thank you in advance for your help.
