Thanks, inserting newlines is fine, but I'd rather avoid the non-ascii arrows.
BTW, there is a "Submit News" button on a project's front page.
(at least when the NEWS feature is enabled)
That parenthetical NEWS-related section is too long for my taste,
so I propose to move it into a footnote. What do you think of
my squashing the following addition into your patch?
Also, I found a direct "submit news" URL, so with this
there's one less visual-search-and-click required.
