The idea is that Paolo's quotearg changes (see the thread at
<http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnulib/2011-12/msg00145.html>)
will be pushed to fix this inconsistency.
Paolo, would you like to do that? I can do it in your name if you like.
