Isn't the right approach to see if there is support for changing
standards.texi first?
We can change standards.texi. But (sorry) why is the coreutils text
preferable? I had thought that what standards has now is what we came
up with, after a lengthy discussion. And I think it is good, because it
is consistent punctuation with the following lines:
Report bugs to: @var{mailing-address}
@var{pkg} home page: <http://www.gnu.org/software/@var{pkg}/>
General help using GNU software: <http://www.gnu.org/gethelp/>
That is why the : is there.
If the question is about adding PROGNAME, that seems fine to me for
coreutils to do even if it's not in standards. It does just say "like
this", after all ...
