Perhaps I misunderstand but on my request you recently fixed mbchar for
IRIX 5.3 does that not count as a report of (gnulib) usage?
There was also recent fixes to c-stack and vasprintf-posix prompted by
issues with m4 on IRIX 5.3.

I'm interested in gnulib for IRIX 5&6 since I build and package software
for IRIX 5.3 and 6.2 both for my own amusement and as a service to the
SGI hobbyist community.
Ultimately I'm only a user and I do not have the skills to maintain
gnulib for these systems. I can only report what problems I see and
hope that people more knowledgeable will provide fixes.
