I wouldn't object to minor and obvious tweaks that are checked out by
a real user who actually needs findutils to run on SunOS 4.1.4. My
assumption in dropping support for SunOS 4.1.4 was partly predicated
on nobody really needing it any more (and computer museums don't count
as real needs :-).

i don't count as a real user and yes it's more museum like. i suspect
there are real users out there. i know of at least one sunos4 box that's
still in use at a university that runs some german written application
to control some scientific instruments. thankfully they have taken it
off the net though.

For realloc the obvious tweak is to #include <stddef.h>.
(In the old days my solution would have been to not use NULL, but
those days are long gone.)

i'll throw that in and see what i get.

i'd like to ech owhat james said - i really don't want anyone to waste
time over this. it was more in the nature of an 'informational' message
to the bug list. i'd assumed either someone would go 'oh, this is a really
obvious thing to fix' or it'd be 'not worth the time, use version blah
which we know worked' or some such and i'd make a note of it.

in terms of OSes that are 'worthless' i know there are hobbyists still
using irix 5.3 (and 4.0.5) and Ultrix 4.{3,4} as well :-)
