I was able to reproduce this result (with minor differences on the large 
numbers, probably due to different compilers and build options).

It is not clear that the problem is with bearoffdump, though. I'm inclined 
to think it is with makebearoff and that the -n flags creates a broken 
database.

The problem is not recent since a 2008 snapshot has the same issue. On the 
other hand, this post from the list archive shows that it used to work in 
2002 : http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnubg/2002-10/msg00336.html
