I've had a quick look and it's just a counter overflowing. Before the
values jump to negative the speed is displaying correctly.
BTW, how much faster is the figure when you set the threads to 2 on your
ht machine?

Ps. I'll check the fix in soon, the counter just needs to be changed to
a 64bit int.
