Has anyone experimented with a Linux LiveDVD/CD and gnu backgammon?
Did you build gnu backgammon with it?
Did you play/analyze matches using such a Linux distribution?
And if so, where there any challenges, disappointments, ...?
I am referring to the Linux LiveDVD of OpenSuse
http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version,
the LiveCD of Knoppix (installable on the hard disk)
http://www.knoppix.net/
and the LiveCD of Ubuntu

Or perhaps there are others?
FYI a LiveDVD/CD is a bootable DVD/CD with an operating system, ready to go.
