[Bug-gnubg] FEATURE REQUEST: Modifications to epc display |

I've been playing around with the new epc display feature for a bit and have a
changes to suggest, which I think will improve its usefulness.
Firstly, thanks to Jorn for implementing it. It's a great improvement on the
previous way of displaying it. Secondly, I love the way it updates even in edit
mode; that really speeds up study. On to the suggestions.
1) Display the wastage instead of the relative epc
Having used it for a while, I've come to realise that I'm as interested in the
Wastage as in the actual epc. I realise that space is tight and we don't want
the screen too cluttered, hence the suggestion to replace the relative epc with
the wastage. I think this gives better information from the same screen area,
for two reasons. (a) The relative epc is duplicated (+ & - for each player) but
the wastage is unique. (b) When I'm studying, I like to shuffle chequers around
to see how the wastage changes for different positions. I'm often only
interested in a one sided position, so the relative epc is irrelevant.
I would sacrifice the display of relative epc, if that meant I could see the
wastage all the time. I'd be prepared to live with calculating relative epc
when I need it.
2) Show 2 decimal places
One dp is fine for play and cube decisions, but two dps are useful for
effective study. This applies particularly for the wastage.
3) Using the race net to display epc
Is the epc accurate when the race net is in use? Is the average number of rolls
known accurately when the race net is used? If not, I don't think the epc
should be displayed.
4) Display epc in lower case.
The two principal proponents, Walter Trice & Douglas Zare, tend to use lower
case. Also, I think the capital "EPC" looks too prominent amongst all the other
text in the area; Score, Pips, Clock. I think "epc" will look better.
