Sounds strange to me. When I dir in the ftp I get this output:

ftp> dir setup.exe
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
-rw-rw-r--   1 100000   12256379 Jul  2 02:27 setup.exe
226 Transfer complete.
ftp: 57 bytes received in 0.00Seconds 57000.00Kbytes/sec.

Looks like things are right at my side.
