[Bug-gnubg] off topic: help using encryption on a Mac

I'm struggling to use GnuPG in OS X (to then be able to work with Achim 
on the gnubg website).

I believe I've correctly installed Gnu Privacy Guard, GPGPreferences, 
GPGKeys and GPGMail, but am stuck getting the IDEA module -- is this 
essential? I also installed PGP previously, but it's the limited 
version since I haven't purchased a license. Is this redundant with 
GnuPG? Maybe it's even causing confusion having both.

Currently reading through the various FAQs, but would certainly 
appreciate any help from anyone familiar with this.
