not to play 3/1 in move 35?
I think 3/1 is right. It's important to hit the second checker ASAP, to
make it much more difficult for opponent to escape and get home on some
(many) freak sequences.
> And what about move 41? Isn't it right to hit with the five?
I think so, but it's probably just a small error not to.
>Now look at move 49? 2-ply says 17/9 which looks much better to me.
In fact, I'm starting to believe that this 20/14 5/3 move might be genial.
Blocking and priming the fourpoint is not the goal; opponent will leave it
soon anyway in most variations and if not the remaining racing equity from
this anchor is very high. 20/14 blocks 6-6 and the ultimate goal might be
to build an outfield prime and roll it home I think. Whether that's really
the way to go I don't know, but it's an interesting approach!
