This is from Frank Berger. he uses pdb for position databases and bgdb
for match databases. I once made a few position databases for him.

You can export matches from the bgdb databases to *.mat files, but as
far as I know, no positions.
But I can ask him, if there will be a chance in future (he's a good
friend and always very cooperative).
