The […] button is to set the settings for the Eval button next to it. The numbered buttons are not affected by those settings. In order to make use of the settings you made, press the Eval button instead.

I analysed a match with cubeless 1 ply evaluations.
In the annotation window there are buttons to evaluate at a higher ply.
I selected a move and clicked 2 ply
It changes it to cubeFUL which I didn't want.
If I select the ... button it shows I haven't chosen to analyse with cubeful?
