This non-standard way of invoking ed has been discontinued in ed-0.3. Use `ed -s filename' instead.
In my opinion, GNU patch should be changed to use the standard option `-s'. Please, can someone tell GNU patch maintainer about this? I'll be offline the next days. Thanks.
