I'm reading book named "Mastering Regular Expressions"
and it pointed me to a bug in GNU egrep.
I've checked and found that the bug exists in grep 2.5.1
(Debian Sarge).
Also I've found this bug report:

and there is no any talkback about this.
It seems that the bug wasn't fixed.
