I have made extensive changes to the ed line editor. The new commands
are in the file ed.txt located in the source.
I have added readline for use on the command line and some editing
features. I do not know ho to edit info files. I have inserted the
readline veatures in the ed.1, but the new line editing features. I have
been unable to contact the original author.

You will have to edit the makefile.in file to accommodate any different
library names that readline uses.
