Abnormal program termination in patch.exe

Greetings,

I am using the patch port from the gnuwin32 project. I have a problem with a certain patch. I have included below the output of the patch.exe, and have attached the diff in question.

I am wondering if it is a bug in the port of patch. It seems other users are able to patch correctly using the same diff file on Linux.

Thanks in advance,
