Dear Sir:

We have identified an issue with sectelnet application. Please let us know if there are any workarounds or planned fixes.

Problem: Using sectelnet application when launched from CDE action icon causes my iconified application to pop up whenever an update is displayed to shell.

Steps to reproduce
1. Using CDE File Manager, launch sectelnet application by double clicking on executable 2. Open a secure telnet session 3. Run application that causes a screen update(In our case Brocade switch session showing port stats every 5 secs) 4. Iconify shell 5. Observe the shell pop up from iconified with out any interaction 6. Iconify again and same results as step 5

Here is the version we are using.

# ./sectelnet --version
telnet (GNU inetutils) 1.3.2, secure telnet s1.0
OS: Solaris 8 CDE

If you need more details, please let me know.

Regards,

Jon Wong
