Dear People,
I get the following error when I do
tar --list /path/to/tarball.tar I get this
leopold-13:38:57 ~/install/tarballs: tar --list xpdf-2.01.tar.gz
tar: /dev/sa0: Cannot open: Permission denied
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
I have replicated this error logged in as both root and as a basic user on five
different boxes running FreeBSD. Four of the boxes are running FreeBSD
4.7-RELEASE-p9 and one is running FreeBSD 4.6.2-RELEASE-p4 The version of tar
I have on the FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE-p9 boxes is tar (GNU tar) 1.13.25 Any help
or insight would be greatly appreciated.
