That's your privilege, but I wouldn't take Ulrich Drepper too
seriously: he's equally rude to everybody. (You weren't completely
polite yourself.)

Your suggestion is quite reasonable, but I suspect that your bet isn't
quite correct. (The best way to settle the bet is to write the patch. :-)
