bug in find? |

running find 4.1 running on HP-UX 10.20
abstract: find bails out at first directory not allowing permission
witness:
% ls /mfg/users
h30-uid
hh56
hh56-uid
oshm10
oshm41
oshm41-uid
oshmbr
oshmbr-uid
oshmmv
oshmrb
% gfind /mfg/users
/mfg/users
/mfg/users/oshmbr
/mfg/users/oshmbr/.Xauthority
/mfg/users/oshmbr/.netscape
gfind: /mfg/users/oshmbr: Permission denied
the problem: /mfg/users/oshmbr/.netscape *is* indeed
denying permission to gfind, which is okay. but
why does gfind bail out at that point, and not continue
with its work in other directories?
