Little followup on the strange 'grep' behaviour on RedHat 7. I verified
that it is the RedHat patch that causes grep to misbehave.
I filed a bug report with RedHat:
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=24924
and guess it is up to them to fix it. Unfortunately I cannot spend any
time trying to fix the patch myself, all I can do is recommend people
to replace grep with the original gnu source on all RedHat 7 systems
(and keep calling the system GNU/Linux rather then RedHat Linux :-)
