help with BFD

This probably not the right place to ask, but I could not find a better
one.

Question:
How do I get the list of local, non-static, symbols from BFD. I've used
bfd_get_symtab_upper_bound, bfd_canonicalize_symtab, and
bfd_print_symbol_vandf functions to dump all of the global and static
symbols.  But how can I get the non-static locals.

Any help would be appreciated.
