Follow-up Comment #7, bug #39252 (project pspp):

Here's another lot of patches to fix the problems associated with converting
strings to dates (and perhaps other types too).

These patches need to be applied on top of the previous ones.


I think this just needs a final review and check-in.  Then this
item can be closed.
