                  Status:                    None => Invalid                
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #2:

Hmm.  Well, maybe I'll drop this idea then.  In tests with an older SPSS
version, it definitely dropped everything past 80 characters.  Maybe they've
fixed this--although the manual I have for SPSS 13 still documents the limit
on BEGIN DATA...END DATA.
