OK, that seems to have worked.  I'll mail the RPMs to
myself at home (I'm at work now) and see if they
install and run OK there.

I'm following the tutorial on the website and I've run
into a smallish problem.  The instructions are "Now,
run TeX".  So I do "tex file.tex".  It can't find
lilyponddefs.tex.  OK, so I tell it where that is. 
More "lost" files follow.

How do I tell TeX (or can I tell lilypond to tell TeX)
where these files are without having to type them all
in time after time.  I'm assuming there's some command
line option or env var or something...
