Same problem here after upgrading from 24.5-4 to 25.1.1. Even when upgrading
the desktop format to version 208.
I use `emacs -nw`.
Trying plain `emacs` GUI, I got error "Font ‘tty’ is not defined".
Removing the `desktop-saved-frameset` variable in my .emacs.desktop, and
setting `desktop-restore-frames` to nil solved the issue.
