That's not a log buffer -- it's the buffer used for communication with
the server.
> *imap log* (nnimap-send-command always calls nnimap-log-command)
> *gnus trace* (gnus-backend-trace is always set to t)
These two will default to nil when Emacs goes into production, but they
are helpful during development.
