The to-address parameter is documented in the Gnus manual:
(gnus) Group Parameters
This type of question would be better asked on the user mailing lists
(help-gnu-emacs@gnu.org, info-gnus-english@gnu.org, ding@gnus.org) first
before reporting as a bug.
