bug#6940: 24.0.50; Entire buffer blinking when selecting text

From: Jules Colding
Subject: bug#6940: 24.0.50; Entire buffer blinking when selecting text
Date: Sun, 29 Aug 2010 16:04:04 +0200

Selecting an area with C-space and then moving the point makes the
entire visible buffer blink. Highly annoying... This only happens in
terminal mode, i.e. with the "-nw" option. It does not happening when
executing "Emacs.app". The *Messages* buffer contains the following
whenever this happenes:

x-set-selection: OpenStep is not in use or not initialized

This is on Snow Leopard with todays bzr trunk.
