File exists, but cannot be read, so don't go opening a buffer

For files like /dev/fd/0 on Linux, hitting v in dired gives
File exists, but cannot be read
But then a empty buffer is created nonetheless.

Better is v on /proc/kmsg:
File is not readable: /proc/kmsg
Where no buffer is created.
