Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

1) Open any text file
2) split window vertically (C-3)
3) grab vertical bar and move it all the way to the right 
   (beyond the window's right edge)
4) emacs quits with SIGABRT
