Sorry to nitpick ...
I quote from the info page for the "Speedbar":
Making and Using a Speedbar Frame
=================================
An Emacs frame can have a "speedbar", which is a vertical window

To use Emacs terminology, the speedbar is not a window but a frame...
that serves as a scrollable menu of files you could visit and tags
within those files. To create a speedbar, type `M-x speedbar'; this
creates a speedbar window for the selected frame.

...and again, this is frame not only a window. In particular, it is
"outside" the current frame.
In fact, there is no "window" called the speedbar. In "text" mode
Emacs such a window would have been useful.
