How convenient. :) But I think you're mistaken that the C-c key
bindings are supposed to work in source files visited by gud. Quote
from the node "Commands of GUD" in the Emacs manual:

       Here are the other special commands provided by GUD.  The keys
    starting with `C-c' are available only in the GUD interaction buffer.
    The key bindings that start with `C-x C-a' are available in the GUD
    interaction buffer and also in source files.

I.e. you have to use C-x C-a key prefix while inside a CC Mode buffer.
