This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.
In GNU Emacs 21.2.2 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
When using a dark background with a white foreground,
ps-print-\(buffer\|region\)-with-faces doesn't recognize that the default
foreground color should be black instead of white.
This behavior seems to have started in Emacs 21.1, because Emacs 20.X was
fine in this regard.
As a simple test, try the following:
emacs -q --no-site-file -fg white -bg black somefile.txt
M-x ps-print-buffer-with-faces
The text will be printed on the page using a white foreground, which
obviously doesn't show up on a white piece of paper. Even if the
foreground isn't completely white, a light foreground is still nearly
impossible to read on white paper.
