emacs too short when autostarted in ~/.icewm

Because _emacs_lacks_a_--fullscreen_option, dangnabbit, like say
/usr/X11R6/bin/xli, I am forced to hardwire
!emacs.geometry: 97x32+-6+-6  for emacs 20.7.  For 21.1 use:
emacs.geometry: 95x35+-6+-6
into .Xdefaults.

Ok, all is well and good, except now that I have put
#emacs -f gnus&
#emacs -geometry 95x35+-6+-6 -f gnus&
emacs -geometry 95x35 -f gnus&
exec icewm
into .xsession.  When the smoke clears, two lines of the shell window
that is underneath emacs still are visible. It's like the skirt is too
short and the kneecaps are showing.  OK, next time I reboot I
will try -geometry 95x37 but, anyways, today it is another ALT-F10 by
hand to get what I want.

Maybe this all has something to do with icewm's toolbar being about 2
rows high at the bottom of the screen, and it being compensated for
twice... or something about emacs having been started milliseconds
before icewm, so is still computing sizes in term of what was there
before icewm kicked in... perhaps I should do (sleep5;emacs)& naw...

Anyway, I don't suppose you computer experts could make a program that
does the same as me hitting the Alt-F10 key after emacs is
running... I remember last time we talked about this it was of course
not emacs' fault nor something that emacs could know or control.
