In GNU Emacs 21.1.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2001-10-23 on chlx022
configured using `configure --prefix=/stor/garray/linux'

The emacs-21 etc/NEWS says that the jit-lock-mode is generally faster
than lazy-lock-mode (jit-lock-mode works great for me).
Should I assume that lazy-lock-mode might eventually be deprecated in
favor of jit-lock-mode? If so, perhaps defun lazy-lock-mode's
doc-string should mention jit-lock-mode.
- Should defun lazy-lock-mode's doc-string mention jit-lock-mode?,
