Better ask the person that made your "emacs installation", whatever
you mean by that expression.  Emacs is distributed by the Free
Software Foundation as a tar archive of its source code.  This archive
includes a file "INSTALL" that outlines the installation instructions.

It seems that you have acquired a prepackaged version of Emacs.  It
should have come with separate documentation entailing its
installation.  Consult that.

And if you want to have a chance of any useful suggestions beside, you
better better include a lot more details about your system, your Emacs
package, the installation process you underwent up to now, and so on.

I remember a time when being a "UNIX Systems Administrator" entailed
some basic inclination of making things work by trying the obvious, or
even the not so obvious.

The age of the wizards has come to a pass.
