split window after entering view-mode: scroll length not adjusted

I am pleased to say that I have found a bug in view mode.
If one splits the window after starting to view a file, the scroll
increment still uses the old bigger length.  Thus you will scroll to
far for each tap of the SPC bar, missing chunks of the file.
