The issue here is that there's no such thing as "FSF Emacs".  It's 
usually a term used by people who have derogatory attitude towards GNU 
Emacs; thus Richard's comment, especially since the rest of your message 
did sound quite angry.

We are merely human.  No one likes when software they spent years 
working on is a subject of name-calling.
