Hi,
The "External Lisp" node of the Emacs manual describes the use of C-M-x
to send the defun at point to the inferior lisp. I suggest it also
mention a few other keybindings for interacting with the lisp
environment:
* C-c C-l to load the current file into the external lisp
* C-c C-k to compile the current file
* C-c C-f to request documentation for the function at point
* C-c C-z to switch to the external lisp buffer, starting one if
necessary.
