Split the screen into two windows, one with a *shell* buffer, one with
the file you were originally reading. Now in the *shell* buffer hit
tab for command name completion of a partial command name. E.g. "d TAB
at TAB" to get 'date'. Notice it does offer 'use space to flush' which
does indeed get the *completions* buffer out of our way, but when all
is finished, we are left with the *completions* buffer sitting in the
other window where our file was. One sees the word 'completed' in the
minibuffer, indicating that it knows its job of completing matches is
over... so can it please get the *completions* buffer out of our face
so we can get on with our job? I.e. restore the window configuration
to what it was before I hit TAB.
