I just installed global-4.8 from sources on my FreeBSD 5.3-beta2.Do you use environment variables or configuration file about GLOBAL?
I've created a simple "dummy" project that fails with the same problem at: http://www.ruilopes.com/test-global.tbz2just run the globalizeit.sh script, it only works when I use the perl version of htags.
