Hi,
I have downloaded the latest (8.50) Ghost Script sources and built in
Microsoft Developer Studio (.NET) as a Makefile project using the
command "nmake /f src/msvc32.mak DEVSTUDIO=". When I tried to write an
application to use "gsdll32.dll" from Interpreter API, it gives the
following problems:
1. In VC++ 7.0 a link error : "..\..\bin\gsdll32.dll : fatal error
LNK1136: invalid or corrupt file"
2. In VB 6.0 reference: "Can't add a reference to the specified file"
3. In VB .NET or C# .NET loading dll: "A reference to
'..\..\gsdll32.dll' could not be added. This is not a valid assembly
or COM component. Only assemblies with extension 'dll' and COM
components can be referenced. Please make sure that the file is
accessible, and that it is a valid assembly or COM component".
Then, when I tried to register directly using "regsvr32" is is giving
the message "..\..\gsdll32.d;; was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer
entry point was not found. The file can not be registered".
I tried to get the direct windows installation (8.50) from GhostScript
site, installed successfully and tried with those files and end up
with same problems...
What can I do...?
Thanks & Regards
Sen
