Please excuse this form-letter-like reply. It is an automatic response
by our computer; we adopted it as some readers expressed concern
whether their e-mails got through to the right place.

     * Submissions for Alumni Notes will go in the next available
       issue. Please allow one or two issues for it to appear.

     * We include e-mail addresses in Alumni Notes only when they are
       explicitly requested or inclusion is strongly implied  

     * We will forward changes of address to Alumni Records,
       at <address@hidden>, who maintain the University's 
       database of alumni addresses

     * Letters to the Editor will go to the editor

     * Story ideas and submissions will go to the editor

     * Notifications for obituaries will be forwarded to Alumni
       Records, at <address@hidden>, who will then notify 
       the University community


E-mails on any other matters will be directly replied to by a member
of our staff, or forwarded to someone appropriate in Alumni Relations
or the University.
